How to Add a Download to the ReGet Deluxe Queue

There are several ways you can add a download.

• Just click on the download link/button and a ReGet Deluxe dialog will appear instead of the standard Save As... dialog.
• Choose "Download using ReGet Deluxe" in the context menu (right-click on a download link for this menu).

If you use Netscape Navigator or Opera:

• Click on a link while holding down the ALT key.
• Or you can also integrate ReGet into Opera browser using a free plugin. Download this plugin from our website using this link, double-click the downloaded file and fulfil the installation instructions. Don't forget to restart your browser.

If you use Mozilla Firefox

• Use FlashGot, a freeware third-party extension for Firefox. It allows your browser to support full integration with ReGet. You can download FlashGot from its official website or visit Mozilla Update page to do that.

Here are a few other ways:

• Drag the download link from your browser and drop it into the ReGet Deluxe floating transparent window.

• Use Copy Shortcut in your browser and manually add the shortcut to the queue by pressing Ctrl-V or by clicking the Plus button.

• Find the file (or folder) you want to download in ReGet Deluxe's FTP Explorer, right-click on it to select drop-down menu and choose "Download".

• Right-click the ReGet Deluxe icon in the System Tray and select New Download from the menu presented.

• Type in the download URL manually after clicking the Plus button.

After you click a link or click the Plus button the Properties dialog appears where you can edit the properties of your download. If you want to save the file with a different name, type it into the Save As… field. If the server you download from requires a login and password, type these in the appropriate fields. Press OK. That's it! The download is added!

How to integrate ReGet into Microsoft Internet Explorer? Solution ReGet Deluxe, ReGet Pro and ReGet Junior all feature native support for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer-based (Maxthon, etc.) browsers.

There are two modes for Microsoft Internet Explorer integration -- basic mode and the low-level mode, the latter being the default setting for new installations. ReGet products are the industry leaders in Microsoft Internet Explorer support thanks to the low-level integration mode.

The Low-level integration allows ReGet to intercept virtually any download (forms, scripts, complex redirects, etc.) from Microsoft Internet Explorer. On a very rare occasion it may however cause misbehavior when some poorly written third-party Internet Explorer plug-ins are installed. If you want to download one particular file with Internet Explorer instead of ReGet you can hold the CTRL-key when clicking on the link to let Internet Explorer do the downloading.

The Basic mode is similar to what you will find in other (competing) download managers and it uses the standard Microsoft Internet Explorer helper interface. This method is only recommended if you experience problems with other third-party Internet Explorer plug-ins using Low-level Integration. It might not intercept downloads from some complex redirects, forms and scripts as the Low-level integration allows. You can define extensions for the ReGet to intercept in the specified field in ReGet Integration window.


How to integrate ReGet into Firefox browser? Solution ReGet Deluxe from version 5.1 and up includes the native Mozilla Firefox support.

If ReGet does not intercept downloads from Firefox 3 please make sure that you are running ReGet Deluxe 5.2.330 and later (this information is available in "Help-->About" menu). The latest build can be downloaded from our download page.



If you are running an older (than 5.1) version of ReGet Deluxe, ReGet Pro or ReGet Junior we highly recommend the FlashGot, a third-party Mozilla Firefox plug-in, allowing you to seamlessly transfer downloads from Mozilla Firefox to ReGet products. Please visit FlashGot site to learn more about FlashGot or if you are reading this in Mozilla Firefox or click here to install the latest version of FlashGot.

How to integrate ReGet into Opera Web browser? Solution ReGet Deluxe, ReGet Pro and ReGet Junior from version 5.1 and up include the native Opera Web browser support, you do not need any third-party or additional tools to enable ReGet integration in Opera Web browser.

If ReGet does not intercept downloads from Opera 9.5 please make sure that you are running ReGet Deluxe 5.2.330 and later (this information is available in "Help-->About" menu). The latest build can be downloaded from our download page.

If you are running an older (than 5.1) version of ReGet Deluxe, ReGet Pro or ReGet Junior you might want to check out the oGet, a third-party Opera plug-in, allowing you to seamlessly transfer downloads from Opera Web browser 9 to ReGet products. Please download oGet 2.x supporting Opera Web browser 9 or download an older version, oGet 1.x, supporting Opera Web browser 7-9.
